Terms of Service

Welcome to FreeForm Roleplay! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our FiveM server and website (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Acceptance

By using our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our Services.

2. Modifications to Terms or Services

We reserve the right to modify these Terms or the Services themselves at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes are made constitutes acceptance.

We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of our Services (including features, content, or access) with or without notice.

3. User Conduct and Server Rules

You agree to use our Services lawfully and respectfully. By accessing our server or community, you agree to follow all rules posted:

• In-game
• On our website
• In our Discord server

Prohibited behavior includes (but is not limited to):

• Using cheats, hacks, or exploiting bugs
• Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory behavior
• Impersonation of staff or other users
• Advertising or soliciting without permission
• Using multiple accounts to evade bans or exploit systems

Staff decisions are final and may not be subject to review.

4. Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for securing any third-party accounts used to access our Services (e.g., Steam, Discord, Rockstar). We are not responsible for unauthorized access caused by compromised accounts.

5. Donations and Purchases

All donations or purchases are handled through Tebex and are:

• Voluntary
• Non-refundable, unless legally required
• Not guarantees of any continued access or in-game perks

Any perks or rewards are subject to change or removal at any time.

6. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party providers to support our operations:

• Tebex: Used for purchases. Their Terms and Privacy Policy apply.
• Gather.sh: Used for applications (e.g., allowlist, staff). Your data is handled under their privacy policy.

We are not responsible for third-party platforms’ actions, content, or data practices.

7. In-Game Content, Progress, and Resets

We may perform server wipes or resets at any time. These may result in the loss of in-game items, currency, character progress, or other data. Resets may occur for reasons including updates, balance changes, or technical needs.

8. Intellectual Property

All server scripts, branding, configurations, and original content associated with FreeForm Roleplay are considered proprietary to our platform. Any third-party content used is acknowledged accordingly. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our materials is not permitted.

9. User-Generated Content

Users retain ownership of content they create (e.g., videos, screenshots, written content). However:

• You grant us permission to display, promote, or moderate such content within our Services.
• We do not claim ownership of media shared externally (e.g., YouTube, TikTok).
• You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with applicable laws and copyright standards.

10. Player Monitoring and Logs

We log certain in-game actions to maintain fairness and enforce rules. Logs may include:

• Chat messages
• Actions or event triggers
• User identifiers (in-game name, Discord ID, Steam ID)

These may be reviewed and shared with staff.

11. Volunteer Staff Disclaimer

All staff members are unpaid volunteers who work to manage the community. While we strive to be fair, we reserve the right to take action—including bans, restrictions, or content removal—at our discretion to maintain server integrity.

12. Ban Appeals

If you are banned, you may submit an appeal via:

• Gather.sh application system
• Email: [email protected]

Appeals will be reviewed by staff, but reinstatement is not guaranteed.

13. Discord and Community Platforms

Our community operates partially on Discord. By participating, you agree to:

• Abide by Discord’s Terms of Service
• Follow our server-specific rules

Violations on Discord may result in disciplinary action on our game server and vice versa. We are not responsible for Discord’s platform availability or enforcement.

14. Privacy

We collect only the information necessary to operate and improve our Services. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.

15. Limitation of Liability

Our Services are provided “as-is” and without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Losses, damages, or disruptions
• Unavailability of Services
• In-game content loss

Use our Services at your own risk.

16. Copyright Infringement Claims

If you believe your copyrighted material appears on our Services without permission, please contact us at [email protected] with:

• Your name and contact information
• A description of the copyrighted work
• The URL or location of the infringing material
• A good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized
• A statement that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act

We may remove or restrict access while we investigate.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any legal disputes must be resolved in UK courts.
